Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis in Missouri. She performed with The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with the Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater and Communications. She began her career as a performer in Los Angeles as a theater performer and choreographer, choreographing over 20 plays and musicals. These included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. In addition she played 7 main roles in LA's Storybook Theatre. Kelly was able to secure roles in television and films while studying improvisations at The Groundlings. Kelly's distinct voice and diminutive stature have allowed her to portray a range of different characters. Her most well-known role is her performance with Naomi Watts taking over the role as the evil Samara In The Ring 2 but is popularly known for the glamorous bright receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly played the part of the paralegal as well as a party animal in TV the show Land's The Exes as a series regular from 2011-2015. Alyssa Mio's sassy sexpert, little sister was Kelly's regular character on ABC Romantically Challenged. No Tomorrow on the CW featured her as an exhausted suburban mom. She is known for the soprano singing voice she has in numerous cartoons. This includes Doctor McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. In the last few years, she has been in the role of the slow but adorable Cloud 9 employee on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. She lives a quiet private life with her husband, and their two little children. She loves sewing, writing and volunteering at school activities.
